Rules & judging
Rules & Regulations
- Open to children aged 4–6 (born between 1 June 2019 – 31 May 2022). Malaysian residents only.
- One entry per child. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
- Use only the official contest paper downloaded from this page.
- Any colouring medium permitted in Phase 1. Standard pencils provided in Phase 2 (live final).
- Original work only — no tracing, no digital colouring, no adult assistance.
- Important: Finalists must bring the child's MyKid to the live final on 6 June 2026 for age verification. No MyKid, no participation.
- Finalists must attend the live final on 6 June 2026 in person — no proxies.
- A parent or guardian must accompany each finalist at the live event.
- Submitted artwork becomes the property of Kiddypedia and may be used for marketing.
- By submitting, parents consent to photography/videography during the event.
- The judges' decision is final. Organiser reserves the right to amend rules with prior notice.

How much does it cost to enter?
Nothing! The contest is completely free to enter, and every entrant receives a free weekday ticket to Kiddypedia Discovery Fest 2026.
What if my child is younger or older than 4–6?
This contest is exclusively for ages 4–6. We're planning more contests for other age groups — follow Kiddypedia on social media to be the first to know.
Can my child use any colouring material?
Yes! In the online round, any medium is allowed — crayons, markers, watercolour, pencils, pastels. For fairness on stage, all 12 finalists at the live final will use the same set of standard colour pencils provided.
How will I know if my child is a finalist?
All 12 finalists will be notified on 27 May 2026 via email, WhatsApp, and a social media announcement. We will use the contact details you provide in your entry form.
What do I need to bring on the day of the live final?
Please remember to bring your child's MyKid for age verification — this is mandatory. Finalists who cannot produce a valid MyKid will not be able to participate.
What happens if my child can't attend the live final?
Finalists must attend in person on 6 June 2026 at Paradigm Mall PJ. If a finalist cannot attend, the next-ranked entrant will take their place.
Can siblings each submit an entry?
Yes — each child can submit one entry, as long as each child is within the 4–6 age range and uses their own contest paper.
How do I redeem my free Kiddypedia Discovery Fest ticket?
After submission, you'll receive a confirmation email with a unique redemption code. Bring the code to Kiddypedia Discovery Fest 2026 at Paradigm Mall PJ on any weekday slot (3, 4, or 5 June 2026).
